Someone burglarized a home on the 500 block of South Selby Boulevard earlier this month.

Residents told the Worthington Division of Police the burglary occurred between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Jan. 4.

The residents reported small items missing, including car keys and change.

Someone broke the window on the back door of the residence in order to gain entry, according to the police report.

In other recent Worthington police incident reports:

A resident reported someone smashed the windows of the vehicle overnight Jan. 3 and Jan. 4 before taking the firearm and other items.

* Two men were arrested the morning of Jan. 6 after "aggressively panhandling" outside a restaurant on the first block of East Wilson Bridge Road.

Officers responded to the area after receiving several calls about the men – ages 42 and 56 – and determined both were wanted on warrants issued by other municipalities.

The 42-year-old had a warrant for a criminal-trespassing charge, police said, and the 56-year-old had a warrant for a jaywalking charge.
