Between 10 p.m. Jan. 30 and 9 a.m. Jan. 31 in the 700 block of South Third Street, someone threw a rock through a car window, but did not enter the vehicle, according to Columbus Division of Police incident reports.
In other recent incident reports from the area:
* A number of items were stolen between midnight and 7 a.m. Jan. 29 from a vehicle in the 500 block of East Beck Street.
Items stolen were headphones, clothing, shoes and a gym bag. The value of the stolen items was undetermined. The thief also chipped a window on the vehicle.
* The windshield of a car was broken between midnight and 6:45 a.m. Jan. 26 in the 500 block of East Beck Street.
* Two incidents were reported Jan. 30 at the Schiller Community Center, 1069 Jaeger St. A car window was broken between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. and a cellphone, value undetermined, was stolen between 5 and 5:45 p.m.
* A $2,000 TV and $400 video-game console were stolen between 4:40 and 5:15 a.m. Jan. 27 from a residence in the 300 block of Hanford Street.
The burglar is believed to have entered the home through an unlocked window and left through the back door.
