Worthington Schools leaders have set March 21 as the date for the annual State of the Schools address after rescheduling it because of harsh weather.

District spokeswoman Vicki Gnezda said the district said it will begin at 7 p.m. at Worthington Kilbourne High School, 1499 Hard Road.

The State of the Schools presentation is expected to include updates on academic issues and the master facilities plan. Performances from district music programs also are scheduled for the event, Gnezda said.

Originally slated for Feb. 7, a heavy snowfall the evening of Feb. 6 created a Level 2 snow emergency for Franklin County early in the day and led the district to cancel all evening events, including the address.
