A Hilliard City Schools bus was involved in an accident at approximately 3 p.m. today, March 14, at Hilliard-Rome and Roberts roads in Columbus, according to district spokeswoman Stacie Raterman.

It was not immediately known how many students were on the bus but none were transported from the scene to any medical centers for treatment, she said.

The students were either picked up by parents or transferred to another bus, Raterman said.

However, the driver of the bus was transported for what Raterman described as a minor wrist injury.

District officials also did not know whether anyone in any other vehicles were injured in the accident, she said.
