Dublin police have identified and charged a man wanted in connection to a shoplifting case from March 24, according to a press release from the police department.
Police say Jordan Robbins faces felony theft charges for stealing 19 pairs of Nike shoes valued at $1150 from Gabe’s at 6285 Sawmill Road.
Police credit "the strong community response" to social-media messages for the quick identity and arrest of Robbins, the release said.

Dublin police are looking for a man suspected of stealing more than $1,100 in merchandise from a clothing store.
According to a press release from the city of Dublin, the man is suspected of taking shoes worth $1,150 at 9:18 p.m. March 24 from Gabe’s, 6285 Sawmill Road.
Surveillance video shows the man putting 19 pairs of Nike men's shoes into a cart and exiting the store without paying. The man is shown leaving the store at 9:44 p.m. and driving away in a navy Honda van.
The suspect is described as a white male with a thin build, brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a black and gray New Balance jacket, a red T-shirt and red shoes.
