Two road closures are slated in Dublin while the city performs preventative maintenance on the Emerald Parkway bridge over the Scioto River between Riverside Drive and Dublin Road.
Beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, June 15, through 6 a.m. Monday, June 18, westbound Emerald Parkway will be closed between Riverside Drive and Dublin Road.
Eastbound Emerald Parkway will be closed between Riverside Drive and Dublin Road from 7 p.m. June 22 through 6 a.m. June 25.
Both closures are weather dependent and subject to change, Dublin officials said.
Glick Road will be the posted detour.
Dublin is spending $975,351 on road maintenance using a technique called hydro-demolition, which involves removing the top surface of the pavement with equipment that acts like a large power-washer.
Lanes will be restricted during the process, but traffic will be maintained in both directions at all times except during the aforementioned closures.
