Gahanna police said they investigated reports involving a suspicious person at 10:06 a.m. July 19 at Academy Park, 1201 Cherry Bottom Road.

A woman was sleeping inside a vehicle, according to reports.

Police spoke with a person who said the suspicious person was involved in an incident the previous day, reports stated. The witness said a juvenile ran in front of the woman, who swung a water bottle over the juvenile's head.

* A representative of a business in the 1200 block of Technology Drive reported the gas tanks were cut off of two vehicles over the weekend of July 14-15, according to a report filed July 19.

* Two bicycles were stolen from the garage at a residence in the 500 block of Thistle Avenue, according to a report received at 5:22 p.m. July 19.

* The manager of a business in the 100 block of North Hamilton Road reported three trash cans full of merchandise were carried out of the store earlier in the day, according to a report filed at 7:43 p.m. July 19.

Surveillance video showed the suspect leaving in a red SUV, according to reports. The manager indicated she would pull video to try and determine a value of the stolen merchandise.

* A resident in the 600 block of Herman Court reported flower planters were stolen from her back porch between 11 p.m. July 21 and 8:30 a.m. July 22.

* A resident reported a vehicle had been rummaged through around 2:50 a.m. July 22 in the 100 block of Rugby Lane. The vehicle had been left unlocked and it was unknown if items were missing, reports stated.

* Two bicycles were stolen from a garage in the 400 block of Baywood Place overnight, according to a report received at 10:21 a.m. July 22.

Two different bicycles were left in the yard, according to reports.

* A gun was stolen overnight from a vehicle in the 300 block of Watling Road, according to report received at 4:37 p.m. July 22.

* A representative of a business in the 1200 block of North Hamilton Road called police after a man and a woman stole several bottles of liquor and fled westbound on Morse Road, according to a report received at 2:43 p.m. July 23. Police made a traffic stop and recovered the bottles, according to the report. The man was issued a summons, reports stated.

* A man reported a loaded gun was stolen from a truck parked in the 200 block of Cotswold Place, according to a report received at 7:52 a.m. July 25.

* A resident in the 100 block of Rocky Creek Drive reported custom-made arrows for a compound bow were taken from a vehicle, according to a report received at 8:10 p.m. July 25. This was the second occurrence, reports stated.
