A $25,000 Honda CRV, manufacturing date unknown, was stolen between 9:30 p.m. July 30 and 9:15 a.m. July 31 from the 100 block of East Sycamore Street.

The victim said he left his keys, along with a $200 laptop computer, in the vehicle, according to Columbus Division of Police web reports.

In other area police reports:

* Two bicycles valued at $3,000 each were stolen between 6 p.m. July 28 and noon July 29 from a garage in the 400 block of East Sycamore Street.

The victim told police that someone rummaged through his car and stole the garage-door opener, which was used in the theft.

* A $2,000 Jeep Cherokee, manufacturing date unknown, was stolen between 9 p.m. July 29 and 7 a.m. July 30 from the 800 block of Ebner Road.

The suspect smashed the driver's-side window to get into the vehicle, causing an undetermined amount of damage.

* Car amplifiers valued at $400, a $275 pair of sunglasses and $1 worth of miscellaneous change were stolen at 7:39 a.m. July 29 in the 600 block of South High Street.

* A $12,000 Honda Fit, manufacturing date unknown, and several musical instruments were stolen between 4 and 4:30 p.m. July 31 from the 500 block of South High Street.

A $1,200 drum set, $200 bass guitar, $1,500 speakers and $800 amplifier were in the vehicle when it was stolen.
