Jackfruit is all the rage these days, providing a texture that some argue is similar to pulled pork.

ThisWeek staffers answer the question: Would you ever put jackfruit on pizza?

Andrew King: Sure, assuming the jackfruit was flavored in some way. It's an excellent vessel for carrying flavors like barbecue.

Scott Hummel: I'd try it. I like pineapple on pizza, so why not some other tropical fruit? Go ahead and poke fun. I can take it.

Sarah Sole: Absolutely.

Dennis Laycock: It's OK in tacos. I'd try it, but I wouldn't put it on there intentionally.

Lee Cochran: Never fruit the pizza. My wife's desire for pineapple on pizza always ensures we'll order two pies. I've heard it tastes like pulled pork. If that's the case and I want something that tastes like pulled pork, then I'll just eat pulled pork.

Lisa Proctor: We've been over this -- pepperoni and mushrooms. No jackfruit.

Nate Ellis: I rarely put fruit on pizza, Jack.

Abby Armbruster: I'm not crazy about jackfruit, but I have had it on a taco before. That's probably as far as I'd go.
