Police are investigating two break-ins that occurred Aug. 11.
The first happened before 7:35 a.m. at a business in the 6300 block of East Main Street. According to the police report, someone kicked a door panel to gain access to the building and stole the cash drawer and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The manager of a business in the 8300 block of Brice Road reported at 11:57 a.m. that someone had broken in through a back window and took $300 cash. Detectives took fingerprints and photos at the scene, according to the police report.
In other Reynoldsburg police reports:
* A 22-year-old Reynoldsburg man was arrested for domestic violence and assault at 4:33 p.m. Aug. 14 at a residence in the 7600 block of North Oakbrook Drive.
* A complaint about a suspicious car led to the arrest of a 39-year-old Etna man, whose car was parked at 3:32 a.m. Aug. 16 in the parking lot of a business in the 2700 block of Taylor Road Southwest. The man was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
* A man reported at 6:50 p.m. Aug. 15 that pinball equipment and six or seven Nerf balls were stolen from his car while it was parked in the 2100 block of Baldwin Road.
* A man reported at 3:38 a.m. Aug. 12 that his ex-girlfriend and an unknown man assaulted him at his residence in the 800 block of Tricolor Drive.
He told police the woman demanded property he did not have and then both assaulted him.
