Nearly $10,000 worth of items were reported stolen last week from five construction sites in Powell.
About $4,900 worth of circuit breakers, hardwood flooring and a kitchen faucet were reported stolen from three homes under construction in the 4700 block of Hunters Bend Court. According to Powell police reports, the thefts occurred between 6 p.m. Aug. 19 and 9 a.m. Aug. 20.
A similar report was taken Aug. 17. In that case, about $3,600 worth of lighting fixtures were taken from a home between 3:30 p.m. Aug. 16 and 7:10 a.m. Aug. 17, according to reports.
Another report was taken the same day involving a construction site in the 7700 block of Foxhound Drive. In that case, more than $750 worth of hardwood flooring planks were stolen, reports said.
In other recent Powell police reports:
* Multiple people living in the Powell Place subdivision reported thefts from their vehicles Aug. 17.
According to reports, at least six vehicles in the 200 block of Halverston Road, the 200 block of Cedarbend Court and the 200 block of Longmeadow Court were vandalized or broken into between midnight and 6 a.m., causing more than $300 in damage and losses.
* A 2007 Toyota was reported stolen Aug. 18 from the 8500 block of Oak Village Boulevard. According to Delaware County Sheriff's reports, the vehicle, valued at $4,000, was stolen between 5 and 11 a.m.
* A 37-year old Columbus woman was charged with misdemeanor theft Aug. 18 after allegedly stealing $405 worth of groceries and clothing from a business in the 8600 block of Columbus Pike.
