A Columbus man recently was sentenced to prison for his role in the overdose death of a man in Upper Arlington in 2017.

Timothy O. Glover, 30, of 2832 Booty Drive in Columbus was sentenced to four years in state prison Aug. 15 by Franklin County Common Pleas Judge Guy Reece. According to court records, Glover pleaded guilty to one charge of trafficking in drugs and two charges of possession of drugs.

According to an Aug. 28 press release from the Upper Arlington Police Division, Glover was arrested July 11, 2017 in connection with the May 3, 2017, death of Jacob Brewer at 2289 Wickliffe Road in Upper Arlington.

According to a press release, officers found Brewer dead after responding to a call about a suspected drug overdose. The Franklin County Coroner’s Office later determined Brewer died of a heroin overdose.

Detectives and officers from the Upper Arlington and Grandview Heights police departments and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office HOPE Task Force investigated the death.
