An Ashville woman said she was attacked and robbed of her purse at 10:15 a.m. Sept. 13.

The victim, 36, said she was walking north in a parking lot in the 5000 block of Arbor Village Drive when she passed two men going in the opposite direction. One of them turned, the woman said, grabbed her by the neck from behind and "slammed her on the ground," according to the responding officer.

Both suspects then took her purse and fled south. The victim said the $10 purse contained $3 in cash and headphones worth $5.

* A homeless man was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct near the intersection of East Beaumont Road and Colerain Avenue at 5:53 p.m. Sept. 11.

* A representative of a Grove City construction firm reported the theft of a $1,500 saw from a site at the intersection of Indianola Avenue and East Royal Forest Boulevard at 4:07 p.m. Sept. 11.

* A woman who lives in the first block of West Como Avenue filed a telecommunications harassment complaint at 8:15 p.m. Sept. 11.

The woman said that at 6:37 p.m. Sept. 10, an individual she had "blocked from all social media and telephone contact" emailed her "scathing, hurtful words." The woman was provided with victim's rights paperwork and referred to the prosecutor's office, according to reports.
