DeSales High School opened the academic year with two staff changes.

Tim Jewett is the director of advancement, joining a team of professionals serving the fundraising needs of the St. Francis DeSales community.

Jewett spent the last two years in the enrollment office working with new student and international student admissions.

Before that, he was an English teacher and track and field coach at the high school level.

Before his career in education, he was with Bob Evans Farms, Cigna and the Sherwin Williams Co.

Jewett earned a bachelor of arts degree from John Carroll University and did post-graduate studies at Otterbein University. He and his wife have five children. They reside in Westerville and are members of St. Paul Parish.

Allison Grosik will begin her first year as director of campus ministry.

After graduating from DeSales in 2011, Grosik attended St. Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania, earning a B.A. in psychology. She went on to graduate school at California University of Pennsylvania and earned a master of education degree in school counseling.

She also is a nationally certified counselor.

She lives in Sunbury.
