A 28-year-old Grove City man was found tearing off shingles on the roof of a business on the 5700 block of North High Street in Worthington at 11:53 p.m. Sept. 14 , according to the Worthington Division of Police.
He was ordered to come off the building and refused before being arrested for disorderly conduct. Officers had reason to believe he was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, according to the report.
Other incidents believed to be associated with him, including damage to several apartments, are being investigated but no charges immediately were filed.
In other recent Worthington police incident reports:
* A 51-year-old Loveland resident called the Regional Income Tax Agency office at 760 Lakeview Plaza Boulevard and, thinking he was speaking to workers at an office in Brecksville, threatened to "shoot up the place" at 10 a.m. Sept. 20.
* A Worthington resident reported that two trucks with the keys and a variety of tools were stolen from the 6300 block of Huntley Road on Sept. 14.
* A 17-year-old Columbus resident was pulled over at 1:15 p.m. Sept. 12 at High Street and Broad Meadows Boulevard for a traffic violation and was found to have a forged Kentucky driver's license. The license contained his older brother's information. The ID was confiscated by police and the boy was not charged.
