Owners Dan Cochran and Larry Horowitz have not responded to multiple attempts to contact them, but sources close to the owners confirm the brewery has shut down. The Hague Avenue facility was locked Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 10, and no one answered the door there, or has answered the phone.

It is unclear if the brewery has gone out of business, or is temporarily closed.

Four String is the second-largest craft brewery in central Ohio, behind Columbus Brewing Co.
