Delaware County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man after he allegedly knocked another man unconscious with a bat last week.

According to reports, deputies responded to a burglary call in the 1700 block of Daffodil Place around 1:30 a.m. Oct. 18.

They reported finding that the incident was not a burglary but a domestic dispute among three people who all knew each other.

The investigation is ongoing and the sheriff's office declined to release additional information about the case, but reports show a Lewis Center man was knocked unconscious in the altercation and taken to a hospital for his injuries.

Another man, the 31-year-old resident of the address, was arrested and charged with felonious assault. Additional charges may follow, according to reports.
