Another new office building is coming to Tech Center Drive after the Gahanna Planning Commission’s Nov. 7 approval of a final development plan.

GivenHansco, a business at 848 Morrison Road, will move to a 12,000-square-foot, single-story office building to be on 1.9 acres on Tech Center Drive in Central Park of Gahanna.

Most of the employees are engineers or in a similar field for the company that works with clients in the concrete, aggregate and asphalt industries, according to Michael Blackford, the city's deputy development director.

“They are a Gahanna company and will relocate about 21 employees,” he said. “I believe their construction timeline is to open late 2019.”

The commission unanimously approved the plan for a single-story office building as well as a design review application and related legislation.

Voting in favor were Thomas Wester, chairman; John Hicks, Bobbie Burba, Rick Duff, Joe Keehner, Donald Shepherd and Michael Suriano.

The property is zoned office, commerce and technology with an overlay.

Blackford said the office building marks the third to be approved this year for Central Park.

The other two are Franklin Peak, a 69,000-square-foot office building and 5,200-square-foot brewery; and All R Friends, an 8,000-square-foot office building.
