Hyland-Croy Road south of Park Mill Drive in Jerome Township was closed Thursday morning, Nov. 8, because of an overturned flat-bed truck.

The scene was south of Park Mill Drive and roughly 3/4 mile south of Dublin Jerome High School.

Union County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Tom Morgan said at 12:05 p.m. the road had reopened to traffic.

Morgan said some damage to the road was observed and Union County engineers were evaluating the damage.

The truck was carrying concrete molds, he said.

A call about the accident was received at 8:48 a.m., Morgan said. EMS units were called, but no one was transported, he said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, he said.

Also nearby, work to install a traffic signal continued at Hyland-Croy and Post roads, narrowing westbound Post traffic to one lane the same morning.
