Two women, in separate incidents, reported receiving menacing threats in the 900 block of Parsons Avenue, according to Columbus Division of Police incident reports.

At noon Nov. 6, a suspect was pounding on a woman's door, threatening her and saying he would damage her property.

According to reports, when she went to move her vehicle, she noticed someone had caused $500 damage to it.

At 12:01 a.m. Nov. 7 at the same location, a man looking for his girlfriend was told she wasn't there. The suspect became upset, attempted to rip open the storm door, then threatened to shoot the house and the victim.

In other recent incident reports from the area:

* A male juvenile said he was robbed at 4:50 p.m. Nov. 7 in the 1100 block of Parsons Avenue.

The victim told police he was confronted by two suspects who demanded money and then assaulted him.

* Two packages containing two separate pairs of shoes -- one valued at $50 and the other at $70 -- were stolen at 3:27 p.m. Nov. 6 from a residence in the first block of Hanford Street.

The packages were later recovered in the first block of Frebis Avenue.

* At 10:30 a.m. Nov. 5, a car window was broken at East Mithoff and South Pearl streets, causing $250 worth of damage. Nothing inside of the vehicle was believed to have been stolen, reports said.

* Between 10 and 10:30 p.m. Nov. 3, a vehicle window was broken in the 1000 block of South Front Street. The estimated amount of damage was not known, according to reports.
