A woman told Columbus police an angry customer spit on her and threw a potato at her at 3:50 p.m. Nov. 29 at a restaurant in the 5000 block of North High Street.
Officers spoke with the victim, who said the customer was "irate" about sandwich toppings when she entered the business. The victim reportedly told the woman if she wanted more toppings, she would have to pay extra.
The victim told police the suspect then spit on her and threw a potato at her before leaving the scene.
The victim was not injured, according to reports.

* An employee of a business in the 3000 block of Indianola Avenue contacted police after someone reportedly tried to pay with a bill that may have been counterfeit at 8:30 p.m. Nov. 28.
* A man reported losing his $400 cellphone at 6:11 p.m. Nov. 28 after leaving it on a treadmill at a business the 3600 block of Indianola Avenue.
The same man filed a menacing complaint at the same time at the same location, reporting a suspect at the business threatened to "knock his block off" after an argument.
* A resident of the 200 block of West Brighton Road contacted an officer at 1:17 p.m. Nov. 23 regarding threats she had received.
The victim said the person issuing the threats was her cousin's girlfriend.
"Victim stated she felt uncomfortable and believes in the threats," according to the responding officer.
* A Clintonville woman said an ex-boyfriend was threatening to post "pictures of herself which she sent him while they were a couple" in a report filed at 12:15 p.m. Nov. 21.
"Victim stated the listed suspect stated he was going to send the pictures of herself to her current boss/employer if she doesn't unblock his number from her phone," reports said.
The woman was referred to the prosecutor's office.
