Westerville police said a unknown male was seen taking a 18K gold watch from a business in the 500 block of West Schrock Road at 11:15 a.m. Nov. 27.

The watch is valued at $6,750, reports stated. According to the report, the man brought in two watches to have the batteries changed and grabbed the watch while the employee assisting him was distracted.

Police still are searching for the man.

* A Westerville resident filed a report at 6:11 p.m. Nov. 25 stating someone has used his deceased mother's information to open multiple cellphone accounts under her name.

The company requested the resident file a report. The incident is still under investigation.

* A 54-year-old Columbus man was found dead inside of his room at a business in the 400 block of Altair Parkway at 4 p.m. Nov. 30. He was found by an employee of his business after he had missed work and was not answering phone calls. According to the report, police found no signs of foul play.
