Brassica, a modern Mediterranean restaurant, has announced a Jan. 18 opening in Upper Arlington.

The new spot, 1442 W. Lane Ave., is a follow-up to the original location in Columbus’ Short North.

The restaurant is known for its wide selection of vegetarian-friendly dishes and for its meat options, such as the house-cured lamb bacon, roasted chicken and all-natural Niman Ranch brisket that is braised daily.

Brassica is owned by Kevin and Katy Malhame, and Kevin’s brother, Darren. They also are the founders of local Northstar Cafe locations and Third & Hollywood in Grandview Heights.
