The Hilliard Division of Police is investigating the theft of almost $1,500 from a business on the 3600 block of Main Street.

The company's loss-prevention officer reported the theft Feb. 6.

The theft of $1,454 occurred sometime between Oct. 9 and Jan. 22, and it is believed to be internal, said Sgt. Kris Settles.

More details are not available because the case remains under investigation, Settles said Feb. 12.

* A 31-year-old woman was arrested for felony possession of drugs at 5:10 p.m. Feb. 2 on the 4100 block of Trueman Boulevard.

* A 31-year-old man was arrested for misdemeanor drug abuse and possession of a controlled substance at 10 p.m. Feb. 3 on the 4200 block of Cemetery Road.

* A 19-year-old man was arrested for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:05 a.m. Feb. 4 at Leap Road and Edgewyn Avenue.

* An 18-year-old woman was arrested for misdemeanor drug abuse and possession of a controlled substance at 12:30 a.m. Feb. 4 at Hilliard-Rome Road and Main Street.

* Two 19-year-old men were arrested for misdemeanor drug abuse and possession of a controlled substance at 10:15 p.m. Feb. 4 at Avery Road and Main Street.

* A 28-year-old man was arrested for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:30 a.m. Feb. 7 on the 3700 block of Main Street.

* A 35-year-old man was arrested for misdemeanor drug abuse at 5 p.m. Feb. 7 on the 3600 block of Parkway Lane.

* Clothes worth $25 were reported stolen between 12:25 and 5:15 p.m. Feb. 6 from the 5500 block of Revere Drive.

* A business on the 4200 block of Trueman Boulevard reported merchandise worth $98 was stolen at 4:45 p.m. Feb. 4.
