Someone threw a rock through the window of an apartment in the 100 block of North Street and made off with property belonging to two people, according to a report filed at 1:03 a.m. Feb. 8.
The victims said the break-in took place between 7:45 and 9:30 p.m. the previous day.
Three computers worth a combined $1,900, a $300 television and a bicycle valued at $200 were stolen from the apartment, along with a $40 backpack and a six-pack of beer worth $9.
In other recent Clintonville-area police reports:
* A 24-year-old woman was charged with assaulting another woman at 5:15 p.m. Feb. 14, reports said.
The victim and the suspect both reside in the 400 block of East Weber Road, according to the responding officer.
* A man said his vehicle, valued at $2,000, was stolen while it was parked in the 5000 of North High Street between 6 p.m. Feb. 13 and 4:45 a.m. Feb. 14.
* A person representing a business in the 4600 block of North High Street filed an embezzlement complaint against an employee at 9:16 a.m. Feb. 13.
The individual who made the complaint told police deposits from daily transactions often did not match receipts from Sept. 10 to Dec. 28, with a discrepancy of $1,250.
* A resident of the 600 block of East Beechwold Boulevard contacted police at 5:54 p.m. Feb. 11 to report someone shot out the glass in her screen door between 4 and 4:30 a.m. Feb. 1. The victim set the damage at $434, reports said.
