Westerville police are looking for a suspect who robbed a business at gunpoint at 6:45 a.m. Feb. 6 in the 900 block of Sunbury Road.

The suspect entered the business with a black revolver, jumped the counter and stole money and a clerk's cellphone before leaving, reports stated. A customer who was entering the store also saw the incident and gave a statement to police. Police searched the immediate area but were not able to locate the suspect, described as being around 6 feet 1 inch tall and wearing all black clothing and gloves, according to reports.

* A Westerville resident reported someone scratched the driver's side of his vehicle and slashed all four tires at 8 p.m. Feb. 6 in the 400 block of Harrogate Loop. The victim told police he believes someone who has a personal issue with his son, the usual driver of the car, committed the crime, reports stated.

* A 49-year-old Columbus resident was issued a mayor's court summons after drug paraphernalia was found on her during a theft investigation at 1:24 a.m. Feb. 6 at a business in the 600 block of Cleveland Avenue. A business employee reported the woman was stealing hygiene items, according to reports. The woman abandoned the items once police arrived. Upon a search, she was found to have a makeshift pipe used for smoking crack cocaine and was found to have a warrant for her arrest out of Worthington, according to reports. She was issued the summons and released to Worthington police, reports stated.
