The large amount of office space in Dublin made the city the right fit for a new event center, according to Chris Winkle, vice president of land acquisition with Noah's Event Venue.

Noah's officials said they expect to start construction on a $5million project between mid-March and the beginning of April at 6180 Eiterman Road, Winkle said.

Noah's is host to wedding receptions on the weekends at its venues, corporate and business bookings on weekdays, Winkle said.

The Dublin project has moved through all city planning and zoning approvals and now is working through the permit approval process, Winkle said.

The Eiterman Road location will be complete between November and December, said Sam Kemp, new market manager for Noah's. Booking dates will be available as early as January 2020.

The 2-story building will include a main hall on the first floor, with a ceremony room and two dressing rooms on the second floor, Kemp said. The main hall will have a maximum capacity of 250. The ceremony room will seat about 150, she said.

Noah's has an event center in New Albany and one in Mentor, Kemp said. Six more centers are planned, four in Ohio locations: Dublin, Blue Ash, Independence and Toledo. Two more are planned in Carmel, Indiana, and Jacksonville, Florida.
