The apartment of a 20-year-old woman in the 2200 block of Teakwood Drive was broken into between 7:15 and 11 a.m. Feb. 16.

The woman said her $2,000 Honda CRV and $320 worth of video games were stolen.

In other Northland-area police reports:

* A 27-year-old woman said a man grabbed her by the hair and pulled it at 2 p.m. Feb. 19 after she accused him of littering when he left a business in the 4600 block of Karl Road.

She said the assault occurred after the two engaged in a verbal argument.

* A 52-year-old man said he was struck in the chest by another man while leaving a store in the 800 block of East Dublin-Granville Road at 1:47 a.m. Feb. 18.

"Officers observed no visible injuries or swelling in the area the victim stated he was struck," according to the police report.

The suspect said he was under the impression the man was stealing from the store and attempted to confront him.

* A woman who lives in the 5800 block of Arborwood Drive said her son's grandfather threatened her over social media at 4:48 p.m. Feb. 15 after she asked him not to mention her or the child on his social media accounts.

The victim, 22, said the suspect threatened to "kick her teeth down her throat," and also to put her "in a hole next to her deceased sister," according to the responding officer.
