Someone stole a generator worth more than $1,000 and fled from a Lewis Center store earlier this month, according to Delaware County Sheriff’s reports.
Deputies were called to the store in the 7200 block of Graphics Way around 7 a.m. Feb. 9.
Reports did not indicate how the generator was stolen, but it is listed among missing items and valued at $1,049.
Police do not have a suspect in the case, but reports indicate the parties involved were using a car with a license plate stolen from a vehicle that had been totaled.
Charges listed in the report include theft, obstructing official business, failure to comply and receiving stolen property.

• Someone broke into a house in the 5700 block of Piatt Road on Feb. 9 or 10, reports said.
No forced entry was determined, but deputies discovered a gas stove valued at $1,500 was missing, reports said.
• A report was filed after a student at Olentangy Liberty High School, 3584 Home Road, allegedly damaged grass on the school grounds.
Sheriff’s deputies were called around 12:30 p.m. Feb. 6 on a report of criminal mischief involving “ruts” and “lots of grass” damaged. The report provided no other details.
No charges were filed against the student.
