A Worthington resident called to report an attempted break-in at a neighbor's apartment at 5:52 p.m. Feb. 9 in the 6000 block of Proprietors Road.

The resident watched a male attempt to open the door with a crowbar, according to the Worthington Division of Police report.

Worthington officers arrived at the apartment and found the door to be damaged, but nothing was missing from the residence, according to the report.

In other recent Worthington police incident reports:

* A Worthington resident reported a vehicle was damaged with a key on the passenger side at 10 p.m. Feb. 4 in the 400 block of East North Street.

* A Worthington resident allegedly was scammed out of $2,000 through an email at 10:40 a.m. Feb. 1 in the 900 block of Hartford Street. Similar incidents have been occurring, said Lt. Michael Holt.

* A Worthington resident reported that a credit card was stolen and used to purchase $220.16 worth of merchandise on Feb. 7 in the 400 block of East Stafford Avenue.
