Pending a Dublin City Schools board vote March 11, Jonathan Alder High School principal Mike Aurin is slated to become Dublin Jerome High School's principal, according to a Feb. 27 press release from the school district.

Jerome principal Dustin Miller is leaving the district to become a professor at Ohio State University, said district spokesman Doug Baker.

Aurin has served as principal at Jonathan Alder since 2015, according to the release. Before that, he was assistant principal at Jerome for three years. He previously taught science and biology at Dublin Scioto High School and biology at Jerome.

He has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the Ohio State, a master's degree in educational leadership from Miami University and a master's degree in secondary education from John Carroll University, according to the release.
