A $15,000 Chevy 3500, manufacturing date unknown, containing $100,000 worth of tools and $1,000 worth of clothes was stolen between 7 p.m. Feb. 21 and 6:30 a.m. Feb. 22 from a business in the 1400 bock of South Fifth Street, according to Columbus Division of Police incident reports.

In other recent incident reports from the area:

* At 11 a.m. Feb. 23, a $25 wallet containing $500 cash was stolen from a motel in the 900 block of South High Street.

The victim said she was checking out of the hotel and dropped her wallet. Someone came by, picked it up and walked away with the wallet and its contents, the report stated.

* Between 8 p.m. Feb. 23 and 9 a.m. Feb. 24, a $300 TV was stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Forest Street.

* A credit card was stolen between 10 p.m. Feb. 23 and 10 a.m. Feb. 24 from a residence in the 400 block of Elsmere Street.

The victim said the thief used the stolen card to purchase goods.
