A 30-year-old woman said she was assaulted at 6:04 p.m. March 6 by three people she identified for police.

The woman said the assault occurred at Interstate 71 and East Dublin-Granville Road.

In other Northland-area police reports:

* An officer investigating a juvenile in connection with a stolen vehicle at 12:13 p.m. March 6 said the individual with whom he was speaking abruptly ran away "despite being told to stop." The officer caught up with the boy in the 2600 block of Bretton Woods Drive.

"The reporting officer chased the suspect on foot and placed him in custody at the above location," the police report said.

The suspect was then released to his guardian.

* A 35-year-old woman said she was punched and knocked to the ground in the 1800 block of Forest Village Lane at 4:35 p.m. March 3. The responding officer said he did not observe any visible injuries on the woman and she declined medical attention.
