Worthington is expected to begin a water-line replacement project on East Wilson Bridge Road the week of March 18, according to city spokeswoman Anne Brown.

The project will extend from the railroad tracks near McCord Park, 333 E. Wilson Bridge Road, to Old Wilson Bridge Road to the west, according to the city website, worthington.org.

Two-way traffic will be maintained throughout the project, which is expected to take 120 days, Brown said.

After the project is finished, the city plans to repave East Wilson Bridge Road from the railroad tracks to High Street, according to the city website.

Brown said the replacement of the water line would be in the center of the road and could cause left turns to be difficult for short periods of time.

She said residents and businesses should be notified with a door-hanger message if water service needs to be shut off temporarily during construction.

Questions can be directed to Worthington’s service and engineering department at 614-431-2425.
