The New Albany Police Department is investigating a reported burglary in which $23,000 in cash, a money purse and empty check boxes were stolen.
The burglary was reported at 8:48 p.m. March 8 in the 6800 block of Cedar Brook Glen, according to police.
In other recent New Albany Police incident reports:
* A 23-year-old New Albany man was arrested for OVI and cited for failure to comply and possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia after an officer at 1:53 a.m. March 8 attempted a traffic stop at U.S. Route 62 and James River Road. The man did not stop and continued to his residence on Tuckahoe Court.
* A 39-year-old Westerville man was cited for unauthorized use of a vehicle and vehicle trespass after officers at 1:47 a.m. March 8 responded to Johnstown Road and Forest Drive on a report of an intoxicated driver. According to the report, an employee suspected of being under the influence of alcohol had taken a company's truck after being told not to drive it.
* A 33-year-old Columbus man was cited for drug abuse and controlled-substance possession or use after a traffic stop at 10:02 a.m. March 4 at Kardules Fields Way and New Albany-Condit Road. Marijuana was seized from the vehicle.
