An 18-year-old Reynoldsburg man was transported to Mount Carmel East Hospital shortly after midnight March 3 after accidentally shooting himself in the leg at a home in the 2100 block of Clay Stone Place.
The man told police he didn't know the gun, a 40-caliber semi-automatic pistol, was loaded and he accidentally shot himself while lowering the gun toward his hip. No charges were filed.
In other recent Reynoldsburg police reports:
* A 23-year-old resident in the 6900 block of Runik Place North reported a suspicious vehicle followed her into her apartment complex shortly after 2 a.m. March 8.
She told police a pickup truck with no headlights on and with several passengers inside followed her car along East Livingston Avenue. A short time later, the truck backed out of the apartment complex, she said.
* Police responded to a disturbance at 11:09 a.m. March 8 at a staffing agency in the 7600 block of Slate Ridge Boulevard where an ex-employee was yelling inside the business and disputing his paycheck.
The man left the business before officers arrived and no charges were filed.
* A 25-year-old man was arrested on charges of assault, obstructing official business and resisting arrest after officers responded to a disturbance call at 4:30 p.m. March 5 at a business in the 1200 block of Brice Road.
* A 20-year-old Reynoldsburg man was arrested on theft charges shortly after 7:25 p.m. March 2 at a fast-food restaurant in the 6300 block of East Main Street. The man allegedly took an unknown amount of money out of the cash register, police reports said.
