An argument about a returned automobile resulted in a claim of menacing at 3:45 p.m. March 8 in the 700 block of Parsons Avenue according to incident reports from the Columbus Division of Police.

The victim said the suspect was returning a car his girlfriend just bought. The victim said there was nothing he could do because there was no warranty for the vehicle.

The suspect then became angry and stated he had a gun in the vehicle, but none was displayed. The suspect stated he would return and shoot at cars in the area.

* At 4:23 p.m. March 9, a man was arrested for allegedly assaulting another man at a bus stop at the corner of Sycamore and North Front streets.

* Jewelry valued at $255 was stolen between midnight Feb. 2 and midnight Feb. 28 from a residence in the 600 block of South Lazelle Street.

The victim told police he believes his on-again, off-again roommate stole the merchandise because he has a drug problem.

* A man carrying $8 in cash had the money snatched away by a suspect at 4:24 p.m. in the 600 block of South High Street. The suspect continued to flee on foot.
