A man walked into what he apparently thought was a bar, but the manager and patrons of the business didn't think it was a joking matter.

The incident occurred at 10:47 a.m. March 19 at a store in the 2800 block of North High Street, according to Columbus police reports.

The manager told police a man entered the business with an open container of alcohol and started drinking, which "alarmed" her and other customers.

The man then passed out in the lobby, according to reports.

Police told the man he would be charged with trespassing if he ever returned to the business or loitered near it again, reports said.
