McAlister's Deli is adding a second location in central Ohio.

Correction: Because of a reporter's error, the original version of this story incorrectly listed Dan and Dale Mulvey as the franchisees of a new McAlister's Deli on Hilliard-Rome Road in west Columbus. Dan Mulvey is the franchisee of the new McAlister's location. His father, Dale, is a franchisee of many other McAalister's locations.

McAlister’s Deli is adding a second location in central Ohio.

The casual restaurant, part of a chain based in Sandy Springs, Georgia, will open later this year at 1581 Hilliard-Rome Road in Columbus, south of Hilliard. It will be near the Meijer store on the west side of Hilliard-Rome.

Franchisee Dan Mulvey could bring four more McAlister's locations to central Ohio, according to an April 16 press release.

McAlister’s is known for deli sandwiches, giant stuffed baked potatoes, soups, salads and desserts.

The other Columbus McAlister's is at 7664 Sawmill Road, just east of Dublin's boundaries.
