Like to have fun with your family? Like to eat? Like a little conversation with your meal?

We do, and we hope you do, too. That's why we are encouraging you and your neighbors to visit us during the Pickerington Food Truck Festival from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 4, in Pickerington High School North's Panther Stadium, 7800 Refugee Road.

Have you ever wondered about the inner workings of your local newspaper?

Do you have questions about how coverage decisions are made or the philosophy behind local sports coverage?

Our editors and reporters will be happy to answer those questions and more.

The Food Truck Festival is presented by the local chapters of Drug Free Clubs of America, which are represented at both Pickerington High School Central and North.

It's organized by members of the clubs at each school.

The event will feature food trucks, inflatable amusements, a sand volleyball tournament, an escape room, live music, raffles for goody baskets and face-painting.

The family-friendly event is a great time to gather with neighbors, have fun with the kids and also have a chat with ThisWeek staffers, including Managing Editor Lee Cochran, Pickerington Times-Sun Editor Tim Krumlauf, and reporter Nate Ellis and sportswriter Dave Purpura.

If you stop by to see us, you might be a part of our Facebook Live videos or social-media coverage.

If you've ever had questions about local news coverage, story subjects, photo decisions or just want to stop by, sit a spell and have a chat we will welcome you.

As for that sand volleyball and escape room ... we'll likely leave that to the youngsters. And you definitely don't want to hear us sing.
