Reynoldsburg City Council will hear the first reading Monday, May 13, of two emergency ordinances dealing with new contracts with the police department.

One would authorize Mayor Brad McCloud to enter into a contract on behalf of the city with Fraternal Order of Police Capital City Lodge No. 9 and the second would authorize him to enter into a contract with the Ohio Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association.

Also on the agenda is an ordinance authorizing the mayor to enter into an aggregation program agreement with Volunteer Energy Services Inc. to provide natural gas services to residents.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. in council chambers at the Municipal Building, 7232 E. Main St.
