A Columbus woman called police after another woman allegedly threatened her with a butter knife earlier this month in a Clintonville restaurant.

According to reports, the suspect entered the restaurant in the 5000 block of North High Street around 5:15 p.m. May 3 looking for a particular person.

When the victim told the suspect she could not see the man she was looking for, the suspect reportedly grabbed a butter knife from the counter and told the woman, "I will cut you."

No violence occurred, and the woman reportedly left the scene before police arrived. No arrests were made in the incident.

* A Worthington woman reported someone stole nearly $6,000 in jewelry from her vehicle while it was parked in the 100 block of Graceland Boulevard the afternoon of May 4.

The incident was reported May 9.

* Residents of the 100 block of East Jeffrey Place reported someone stole a utility trailer from the alley behind their home.

According to reports, the trailer was stolen from the residence around 5 p.m. May 7. The incident was reported the following day.

The trailer reportedly is worth about $800, and the incident was captured on video by a security camera.
