Someone broke into a Powell business late last month to steal its safe and hundreds of dollars it contained.
According to reports, the break-in at the business in the 200 block of West Olentangy Street was reported around noon April 29, and is believed to have occurred between 8:30 p.m. April 28 and 10:30 a.m. April 29.
Police on the scene reported finding no evidence of forced entry, but the business reported a $430 safe and more than $1,700 missing from the premises.
Officers obtained fingerprints from the scene but have not listed any suspects or arrests in the case.

According to reports, the man was accused of stealing two vacuum cleaners, together worth around $850, the afternoon of April 18.
* A Powell woman reported someone stole her purse while she was shopping at a store in the 10000 block of Sawmill Parkway the afternoon of April 27.
