Flavored Nation, a bona fide food fest featuring the tastes of America, is returning to Columbus.

Having made its local debut last year, this year’s food extravaganza will be held Aug. 24-25 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, 400 N. High St.

For the uninitiated, dozens of chefs from across the country make a dish that represents their state. This year’s event promises new selections, new chefs and enhanced experiences, according to a June 17 news release from organizer GateHouse Live Events & Promotions.

Tickets are $35 and are available online at flavorednation.com. Ticket prices increase to $45 on July 15. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $55.
