Grandview Heights police officers responded at 4:40 p.m. June 7 to a home in the 1300 block of Burr Avenue on a report of a burglary.

Officers searched the residence and found no one inside, according to reports.

The victim said he left his home at 3:15 p.m. and returned to find several items had been moved and $75 in cash stolen.

In other recent Grandview Heights police reports:

* A resident of the 1000 block of Hilo Lane reported June 9 he found his car had been rifled through overnight and a TSA badge, valued at $100, was missing.

Several other Hilo Lane residents also reported their unlocked cars had been entered, but nothing was taken from their vehicles.

* A man reported his wallet was stolen from his backpack June 2 while he was at the Grandview Heights Municipal Pool, 1350 Goodale Blvd.

* A resident of the 900 block of Kramer Avenue told police his car, worth $7,000, was stolen May 27 from his driveway. He said the vehicle was unlocked and likely had a spare key inside when it was taken.

* A resident of the 900 block of Oxley Road reported May 28 that a power washer, leaf blower and mulcher were stolen from her garage.

The woman said she was out of town May 22-28 and that her sister noticed the items were missing May 24.

There was no indication of forced entry and both garage doors were locked, reports said. Total loss was estimated at $700.
