Patches of Light will hold its inaugural cornhole tournament from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Dogwood Shelter at Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park, 3800 Veterans Memorial Drive in Hilliard.

The event will feature two-person team cornhole matches, food and music. The competition will follow the American Cornhole Association's rules.

The grand prize-winning team will receive a trophy and an Ohio State University cornhole game. First-, second- and third-place teams will each receive a trophy.

A prize for best team name will be given.

Immunizations available Aug. 14

Franklin County Public Health will offer adult and child immunizations by appointment only from 9:40 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, at Norwich Township Fire Station 83, 4283 Davidson Road, Hilliard.

Most major insurance plans will be accepted. A sliding-fee scale is available for those without insurance.

Those wishing to receive immunizations must bring a shot record, a parent's identification with a photograph and an insurance card. A consent form is required if a parent or legal guardian is not present at the clinic.
