Bexley police reported an unknown male suspect threw a large rock at 1:16 a.m. Aug. 5 through the front glass door of a business in the 500 block of North Cassady Avenue.
The suspect entered the store with the intent to commit a theft offense but was not successful, according to Bexley police. He fled before police arrived.
In other recent Bexley incident reports:
* On Aug. 5, an employee at a business in the 2500 block of East Main Street reported a male suspect placed items into a book bag and left without paying for them.
* A resident in the 2600 block of Stanbery Avenue reported he noticed at 9 p.m. Aug. 2 that his animal traps had been stolen from his backyard.
* A resident in the 900 block of Chelsea Avenue reported two bicycles were stolen Aug. 2 from his partially opened garage.
