Several recent reports of vandalism police believe to be related resulted in charges for three men, according to Dublin Police Department incident reports.

Seven reports of criminal damaging to mailboxes were made in the early hours of July 28 in the 4400 block of Hanna Hills Drive beginning at 12:09 a.m.

According to police reports, one of the homeowners said he saw three young men running down Wyandotte Woods Boulevard before getting into a car and leaving.

On a tip, police visited the home of an 18-year-old Columbus man who admitted to damaging a mailbox.

Officers used cellphone and spoke with the others allegedly involved before charging the first 18-year-old Columbus man, a 19-year-old Columbus man and an 18-year-old Powell man with criminal damaging.

They each were issued a summons to appear in Franklin County Municipal Court.
