Nonprofit organization Leadership Upper Arlington will play host to a candidates night from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Upper Arlington Municipal Services Center, 3600 Tremont Road, according to a Sept. 24 news release from the organization.

The free event is open to the public and is intended to provide Upper Arlington residents an opportunity to meet and hear from local community leaders and candidates running for public office in the Nov. 5 general election.

An informal open house will be held in the municipal building's lobby from 6 to 7 p.m., when residents will have an opportunity to meet candidates.

Kurt Ludlow, a local television news anchor for ABC 6-Fox 28, will moderate a question-and-answer forum with local candidates, including those running for City Council and school board. The forum will occur in the council chambers from 7 to 9 p.m.

Questions will be formulated prior to the forum, based on public input and current issues, according to the news release. Attendees should submit questions prior to the event via email to info@leadershipua.org. Questions will be accepted until 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Leadership UA has invited City Council and school board candidates to attend the open house and forum.
