I have always believed that Worthington is full of great people, and that belief was reinforced recently.

On the morning of Sept. 21, I was at the Worthington Farmers Market. As I approached a vendor, I discovered that I no longer had my wallet, which contained my driver’s license – with an address where I no longer reside – and a substantial amount of cash.

I retraced my path back to the car without finding it. So I headed home, mentally rearranging my Monday schedule to include a trip to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles for a replacement license.

Imagine my joy when a few hours later I received a phone call from the people who now live at my former address, telling me that the wallet with the license and all the cash had been left at their house.

I could thank the people who called me, but since the person returning the wallet left no name, I am saying thank you here. What a wonderful example of the spirit of Worthington.
